Not for publication: Alex Ingram joins the BYD UK PR team
11 December 2025 Not for publication: BYD UK has welcomed Alex Ingram to its PR team, joining in a new role as Press Officer. Reporting into Head of PR, Mike Gale and working alongside PR Manager, Rachel Goodwin, he will be another key point of contact for media enquiries across the BYD, DENZA and YANGWANG brands.
Alex bolsters the experienced in-house team and brings his own distinct perspective to press, product and events coverage thanks to his 10 years' experience as a motoring writer, including seven years at Auto Express magazine – the majority of which saw him leading the road test team.
Alex joins BYD at an incredibly exciting time. Early 2026 will see BYD launch both the Sealion 5 DM-i and Atto 2 DM-i in the UK, bringing the brand's model family up to a total of 10. The busy year will also see the national launch of the exciting new premium brand, DENZA and its three initial models for Europe.
