BYD and DENZA at CarFest 2026

• BYD attends CarFest 2026, returning for the first time since 2024
• BYD Group’s premium brand, DENZA, also makes its event debut
• The event moves to Silverstone Circuit, running from the 28th to 30th August 2026

26 August 2026   BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (plug-in hybrid and electric) and DENZA, BYD Group’s technology-led, premium brand, will be presenting several of its newest and most exciting models at CarFest 2026.

BYD Group returns to CarFest following its first appearance in 2024, and this year arrives at the event with a range of key new models, many of which are set to go on sale imminently.

Among them is the DOLPHIN G DM-i. The all-new supermini, designed exclusively for the UK and European markets, becomes the nation’s cheapest new plug-in hybrid with an on-the-road starting price of £23,990. The show will give the public a chance to see the new model close-up, including features like its panoramic roof, head-up display and the highly efficient Dual Mode Super Hybrid powertrain, which is capable of up to 65 miles of electric-only driving and a 646-mile range with a full battery and a full tank of petrol.

From superminis to SUVs, BYD’s range will soon grow with the Ti 7. CarFest attendees will be  among the earliest to see a car which delivers two firsts for the UK: the brand’s first seven-seater, and first model to get a Dual Mode Performance (DM-p) powertrain. The combination delivers superb practicality for families, yet thanks to its plug-in hybrid system, achieves a 0-62 mph time of just 4.8 seconds.

CarFest’s pick-up fans will also have the opportunity to view the SHARK up close. The bold pick-up newcomer combines impressive practicality and robustness with a Dual Mode Offroad (DMO) powertrain, offering 436PS and 650Nm of torque, making it an ideal choice for towing trailers or carrying significant payloads.

Joining these models on the stand is the SEAL. Recently updated, the striking saloon introduces both a larger boot and frunk space, while additional driver assistance technologies, new exterior colours and revised 19-inch alloy wheels build on the already compelling all-electric package. 

For power used for a very different end result, festival-goers can go to the Michelin paddock to see the new DENZA Z. The brand new all-electric supercar features a three-motor powertrain to produce 1604PS – enough for a 0-62mph time of as little as 1.96 seconds. And the speed doesn’t stop at its on-track performance, because it also features FLASH Charging, enabling a recharge from 10% to 70% in just five minutes.

This year, CarFest increases its scale, by moving to Silverstone Circuit for the first time. Moving to the home of the British Grand Prix also offers a greater opportunity to continue its charity fundraising. Since 2012, the event has raised more than £28 million for UK children's charities. This year, it is supporting the Northamptonshire Community Foundation, The Pace Centre, Helen & Douglas House, The Smallpeice Trust and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity – each of which will receive 2% of the total funds raised through CarFest this year.
