BYD Celebrates Saturday Night Takeaway Prize Winners during Official Opening of BYD West London Store
22nd April 2024 BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, has officially opened a high-tech retail experience, with retail partner LSH Auto, in Westfield White City in London, Europe’s largest shopping centre. The new BYD West London ‘Pioneer’ store was formally opened by former England Lioness and LSH Auto ambassador, Jill Scott, during a VIP launch event on 19th April 2024.
The momentous opening of BYD West London also celebrated the six winners of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, with each winning a brand-new BYD electric car. After 20 years, the popular primetime UK show came to an end on Saturday 13th April with the star prize of a stunning BYD SEAL, along with tickets to UEFA Euro 24TM, being won during the spectacular finale.
BYD electric cars have featured weekly as headline prizes on the ‘Win the Adverts’ segment of Saturday Night Takeaway, with winners throughout the 2024 series claiming 3 x BYD DOLPHIN C-Segment hatchbacks, 2 x BYD ATTO 3 C-Segment SUVs and finally, the flagship BYD SEAL D-Segment sedan. The winners were invited to the VIP launch event at Westfield White City to celebrate their magnificent prizes. The link with worldclass football has special significance: it celebrates BYD being named as the Official eMobility Partner of this summer’s European football championships, UEFA Euro 24TM.
